18th C. English Soft Paste Porcelain Trio, Attributed To Caughley

Presenting for sale an early English soft paste porcelain decorated trio, circa 1775 – 1799, attributed to Caughley, England. The trio consists of a matching chocolate cup with handle, a handleless teacup, and a saucer. The shanked (twirled and fluted) ensemble is decorated with inter-looping borders of gilt and cobalt ribbons, each loop enclosing a gilded star. The center features a cobalt circle within a circular frame of gilded vines. Both cups are decorated on the interior and exterior.

The trio is in amazingly excellent condition with only minor gilt or enamel wear. No marks are present.
